Michael Feldman

Leslie Lee Bell and Michael Feldman

Gui also choreographed Madonna and worked with Elvis and many others acts both in the recording world and on Broadway. Unfortunately he passed away long before his time.

During the last few years he has been the musical director/pianist/accompanist for two top Las Vegas lounge acts: “Spice Show Band” for two years, led by and featuring Sal Garcia of “Sidro’s Armada”, one of the top Las Vegas lounge bands of the 1970’s and ‘80’s, and “The Danny Gale Show” for the twelve years, featuring singer/dancer/comedian Danny Gale (until his untimely death a few years ago.). With these two groups and quite a few others like Harbor Lights he’s played the following hotels and casinos: The Aladdin, the Alexis Park Resort, Bally’s, the Mint (now Binions’ Horseshoe), Caesers’ Palace, the California, the Continental, the Paddlewheel (now the Greek Isles Hotel and Casino), the Flamingo Hilton, the Fremont, the Las Vegas Hilton, the Sheraton Desert Inn, the Union Plaza (now Jackie Gaughan’s Plaza), the Lady Luck, the Maxim, the Palace Station, the Riviera, the Sahara, the San Remo, the Stardust, Vegas World Hotel and Casino (now the Strasosphere), the Tropicana, the Westward Ho, and too many to list here.

Michael was also VERY busy, playing bass with Barbara Blair, Tony Tillman, Shake, Rattle, & Roll, The Silvertones, Jukebox Saturday Night, Stan Marks (Trumpeter for Maynard Ferguson for a decade), Harbor Lights (3 years House gig at the Venetian since its opening), Heart and Soul, and many others. With Tony Tillman he opened for Bill Cosby and became a great friend.

Leslie played the two largest ships (at the time) in both the Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruise Lines in the showroom as Danny Gale’s musical director, and Michael traveled to both Japan and Korea and played two cruises as well. One cruise bought their 8’4” Ammer German revival harpsichord, and the other cruise bought their Remo custom-built copy of Hal Blaine’s monster drumkit.
